We are organising a group trip to Southern Tenerife in the second half of Jan 19. The area we are stopping in is Los Christianos, a major tourist resort. The advantages are, plenty of varied accomodation, a good bus service to the surrounding area, and plenty of good cheapish resturants. ( Think a good 3 course meal for under 10 euro's.)
We intend to limit the numbers of walkers to 10 maximum to avoid overcrowding the local buses.
Jean and I have spent two weeks there for the last three years and have only managed to re-do one walk, but this we did in reverse.
Walking standards are moderate to strenuous ( Grades C to B), the walks vary from sea level ones to high mountain trips (10,000' plus.)
The area is most suitable to bring any none walkers as it is a holiday resort with many tourist attractions. None walkers will not be added in the 10 above. Note it is a popular cycling spot for any interested cyclists.
